{"id":2605,"date":"2020-03-19T11:05:37","date_gmt":"2020-03-19T15:05:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/drathavale.com\/?page_id=2605"},"modified":"2020-06-22T13:53:49","modified_gmt":"2020-06-22T17:53:49","slug":"covid-19","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/drathavale.com\/covid-19\/","title":{"rendered":"COVID-19: What You Need To Know"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>ENT of Georgia &#8211; Cartersville\nis committed to your health and safety as the coronavirus (COVID-19) continues\nto spread.&nbsp; We are monitoring the CDC and WHO websites and taking all\nnecessary precautions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The current situation is very\nfluid and changing hour to hour.&nbsp; Patients are encouraged to check the\nfollowing resources for up to date information on COVID-19, including how to\nbest keep yourself safe and what you should do if you suspect that either you\nor a family member may have fallen ill with this virus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/dph.georgia.gov\/\">Georgia Department of Public Health<\/a> <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cdc.gov\/coronavirus\/2019-nCoV\/index.html\">Centers for Disease Control<\/a> <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At this time ENT\nof Georgia-Cartersville is operating on a normal schedule and continuing to\ncare for patients in our community.&nbsp;The CDC is&nbsp;<strong>not<\/strong>&nbsp;recommending postponing urgent or routine care\nat this time.&nbsp; Therefore, it is safe and appropriate for patients to keep\ntheir appointments for office visits and surgery with&nbsp;<strong>all<\/strong>&nbsp;of their health care provider as long as they <strong>do\nnot\/have not<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><em>Have a fever, dry cough, symptoms of lower respiratory illness (e.g., cough or shortness of breath), or other cold\/flu like symptoms<\/em><\/li><li><em>Been exposed to someone that has been diagnosed with coronavirus or someone that has had contact with anyone under quarantine for the virus<\/em><\/li><li><em>Recently traveled outside of the United States in the past 2 months or been exposed to anyone returning from outside of the United States <\/em><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>If any of the\nabove apply to you, we ask that you call and reschedule your\nappointment.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We will continue\nto update our website with any changes to these policies.
